As we leave the beautiful shores of New Zealand, it feels appropriate to share this powerful Waitaha* Chant. This heart-touching prayer was used to kick off the event at which the “Money Types” were launched earlier this month in the Southern Hemisphere:

Aroha Aroha Aroha, ki te Aorangi – Love to the Universe
Aio Aio Aio, ki te Aorangi – Peace to the Universe
Koa Koa Koa, ki te Aorangi – Joy to the Universe
Pono Pono Pono, ki te Aorangi – Truth to the Universe

*The Waitaha are believed by some to be the original people of New Zealand – predating the Maori. With a reputation for being peace-loving, there are several now-out-of-print books which attest to the tribe’s sacred wisdom.
