BOOK TESTIMONIAL:

Stunning – a real page turner! I have read books that promised enlightenment of one sort or another, however, I have never before picked up a book that was so easy to read – a great mixture of practical advice, exercises to cement the learning & stories of how it has impacted on people’s lives. It is a book that I will re-read and recommend to friends & colleagues alike…”

This book was an asset when I was exploring my wholeness. As a feral child, wilful teen, and wiser adult, I have done much inner work on reclaiming aspects of my fragmented self. At first when I saw the title, “Be Your Own Guru”, my inner critic came to the forefront of my mind and said some self-deprecating comments. So for a few days, I left the book alone.
This book helped me gain some discernment, and visioning of possibilities, if I listened to my own internal wisdom instead of 3rd party opinions. One feature that I particularly liked was the “Guru success tips”. Key areas of interest to me were: blaming others; spiritual choice and belief in self, and from my own journey these 3 areas are inter-woven, and by small tweaks can be re-designed into one cohesive tapestry.
